Rowan, Live at Hermann's Jazz Club

Last week Rowan and the Grade 8 Jazz Band played at Hermann's, a local jazz club. I can't imagine playing my first real club gig at 13 years old, but she and her friends did. Kudos to the kids and to Jeff Weaver, their outstanding teacher, who is not so fond of musk-ox meat, but plays a mean drumkit.

The video is from a Tegan's-eye view, as she crept along the floor filming with her iPod. She had a great week too, her team winning their league Basketball championships on Friday night, cause for a celebration at Dairy Queen.
